"Tubular Bells 2" has excellent sound quality and arrangement. It just has an excellent production, which was made by Trevor Horn. This is how Mike remembers working together with Trevor: "[While recording] I always have an impression of being like 'vampires', each one takes ideas from another one and always there is someone that feels he is losing. With Trevor it has been different because he understood what I wanted to do and he has been like a mediator." (El Mundo, 1992)

Trevor Horn has a reputation of being able to catch the best features from every artist. At the same time he doesn't change the style of an artist by putting his own style into the music. And not only that. He's also got excellent feeling about people' taste. "Tubular Bells 2" is the best example. Almost everybody likes the album. Even fragments with heaviest guitar playing on the album do not annoy anybody's ears.

Trevor Horn began his musical career as a vocalist and guitarist in The Buggles - a due with keyboard player Geoff Downes. Albums:

After that he began producing music. Trevor Horn is told to be the first producer, who used recording studio as one of the instruments. He used computers and samples like no one before.
